Door closers and architectural hardware that make entrances welcoming, secure, and comfortable — engineered for security, safety, and everyday performance.
A door closer does quiet, constant work: bringing an opened door back to a firm, controlled close, every time. That single function underpins a building's security, its fire strategy, its accessibility, and the simple comfort of moving through a space.
The range we supply is built to suit differences in door size, weight, and style — from residential entrances to the doors of apartments, offices, hospitals, schools, and retail interiors, and including sliding doors and fire-rated assemblies. Design-led series suit hotels and retail spaces where the hardware is part of the architecture, while replacement models keep existing doors serviceable.
Beyond closers, we supply the wider family of hardware that surrounds an opening — sliding door closers, auto swing hinges, floor hinges, locksets and finishing hardware — so an entire project can be specified from one coordinated source.
Surface-mounted closers across the full range of door sizes and weights.
Controlled, cushioned closing action for sliding and pocket doors.
Self-closing hinges for lighter doors where a closer body isn't wanted.
Locksets, levers, pulls, floor hinges and coordinated accessories.
Automatic door operators extend what a conventional closer can do — powering the opening and closing cycle so a door is no longer a barrier. They answer the everyday problems people have with doors: arms full of luggage or stock, a leaf too heavy to push comfortably, or approaching in a wheelchair.
Paired with sensors, access control, or facial-recognition systems, operators enable fully touchless entry — valuable in healthcare and hygiene-sensitive environments. In assisted-living and nursing facilities they add independence for wheelchair users and elderly residents, and in offices and warehouses they let cleaning and security robots move between spaces that a closed door would otherwise seal off.

The adjustments that let one closer be tuned to a specific door, its traffic, and the people using it.
Closing force is matched to the door's weight and width by adjusting spring power — turning the adjusting nut clockwise increases power, counter-clockwise reduces it. Fitted to the D-4550, D-3550 and D-2550 series.
The door is controlled through its entire opening and closing cycle, with adjustable backcheck on opening plus adjustable general and latching speed on closing. A separate hydraulic valve delays closing speed from 180 to 70 degrees of the opening range.
An independent valve stalls the door's opening at around 70 degrees. When a door is thrown open by wind or a hurried user, backcheck reduces the risk of damage to the door, an adjacent wall, or anyone nearby — important in public buildings, schools and colleges. Standard on D-2550, D-3550 and D-4550; optional on 8800, 7000 and D-1550.
Opened beyond about 70 degrees, the door enters a delayed mode before closing, adjustable from seconds to minutes depending on opening angle. This gives extra time to nursing staff assisting patients, people pushing meal or maintenance trolleys, and anyone moving with a stick or walking frame. Optional on the D-3550 and D-4550 series.
Further adjustments across the range include latching action, closing speed, and spring power.
Beyond surface-mounted closers — concealed solutions, floor hinges, sliding gear, and the hardware that completes an opening.
Closers housed within the door leaf or frame for a clean, uninterrupted appearance.
Transom-concealed units that keep sightlines clear above the opening.
Floor-mounted closers carrying the weight of glass and heavy timber doors.
Smooth, cushioned closing gear for sliding and pocket door assemblies.
Locksets, cylinders, lever handles, hinges, pulls, stops and finishing accessories.
Powered opening and closing, with touchless and access-control integration.
